White Stuff has been established for 25 years and have over 100 stores all over the UK.  You can find out more about them here:

White Stuff is a company with strong ethical values which supports 85 small UK charities as well as funding scholarships for high achieving young people from poorer families in India.  You can read much more about their Foundation and charitable activities through their website or here:

Rathbone has become the chosen charity for White Stuff’s head office which is based in Lambeth.

In order to secure this fantastic investment, Rathbone had to take part in a thorough selection process which culminated in a presentation to the White Stuff board and staff representatives.  The panel were impressed with Rathbone’s mission, aims, enthusiasm and our belief in the opportunities that we can offer young people.

The White Stuff Foundation was set up to ‘make the world a little happier’ by supporting disadvantaged children and young people and has built long term relationships with small, local charities by supporting them and giving time and material support.

The White Stuff Foundation will be providing financial support to Rathbone over the next 3 years.  In addition, White Stuff head office staff will hold fundraising activities to donate other funds to us as well.  They will also assist us with other things such as training, skills, loan of goods and providing their staff as volunteers – a fantastic addition to their financial support.

This will be a substantial benefit and boost to the services that Rathbone is able to offer to our young people, and gives us a chance to run new, additional services to reach more young people in our local community.

This will include a Performing Arts Programme, additional holiday activities for young people and a football programme.  We will also use some of the funds for sustainability investment in transport and fundraising.  We also intend to use some of the money to attract ‘match funding’ so that we can bring in additional grant funding.

Everyone at Rathbone is extremely excited about this fantastic opportunity and the relationships we will build with White Stuff over the next 3 years.
