April 7th – Gardening at Rathbone

Today the enemy is the blackberry – lovely to eat but they spread everywhere and have nasty thorns.

We also dug out the stinging nettles which have taken over the end of the garden.

  1. The cakes look deelicious. I wanted to ask if you follow any gardening ‘ideaology’ like Permaculture or Fukuoka? It is amazing how much different fruits and vegetables you can get out of a backyard like the one you have, and without any chemical fertilizers or machinery.
