As part of the #TrustYouth for international #YouthDay today a few member of the Youth Management Team went on a quest to find out what parents, carers and most importantly young people thought youth should be trusted to do!
Some great #TrustYouth statements were shared and have all contributed to us coming up with our very own #TrustYouth statement.
Here at The Old Library we #TrustYouth to work together to create a better community environment where young people thrive and make a positive contribution to society
We encourage you to think about Why Do You #TrustYouth???
At the End of June Rathbone held their AGM where different elements of Rathbones services were discussed and celebrated. We learnt all about the services they run and the achievements of the charity over the past year.
The youth club did a presentation on what we have been doing and all the great funding we have attained.
One of our young people did a speech about how the youth club has helped him develop and grow as a person – increasing his confidence and opportunity do try new activities.
” I found it (making the speech) a great experience because I got to tell loads of people all about the youth club and what we get to do there. Talking in front of all those people was a bit scary but I really enjoyed it in the end”
