Rain at last!

We planted potatoes as they help to break up the soil

 

 

After weeks of hacking away at the rock hard soil on the new plot we had lots of the rain and were able to dig properly.

Clearing the paths
We netted the cherry tree, we don’t want to please the birds that much!

We also sowed sunflowers and nasturtiums to add some colour and please the bees and birds.
