Diverse Dance Studios works in partnership with The Rathbone Society. Together they have created the first Street Dance Youth Company for young people with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (PWLD) in South London.
Within the company, students focus on improving their dance technique and choreographic skills. Made2Dance is a unique project that inspires creativity and develops individual artists. During this project the company work together to create a final performance and achieve their Bronze Arts Award, which is a Level 1 national qualification. The group have performed at Siobhan Davies Studios, Southbank Centre, Lost Theatre, Elmgreen School and the Lambeth Country Show.
Sessions run every Wednesday 7-9 pm during term time only, for young people aged 14-25 with Learning Disabilities.
