During October, and after a great deal of hard work, Rathbone finally achieved the PQASSO Level 1 Quality Mark. A quality assurance benchmark widely used and highly regarded within the voluntary sector. Well done to everyone who worked towards this, and great thanks go to Charlotte at LVAC for all her support and patience.
10th October – We held a well attended feedback event at Lambeth Accord for a voluntary cross-section of Rathbone’s Customers. Everyone who attended had the chance to talk about the service(s) they receive and the activities and events they attend. Events such as this provide valuable insight into what we do well and what we need to improve on. Thanks to all those who attended, and to the members of Rathbone’s Come Dine With Us group who worked very hard to provide all the food for the event.
15th – 16th September – Rathbone’s hardy and enthusiastic band of volunteers did a great job at our stall at the Country Show in Brockwell Park, selling flowers to raise funds for the charity and giving out information about our services to interested members of the public. The weather was, thankfully, much better than last year, so it was the event was well worthwhile and we will certainly be back there again next year.
Rathbone will again be hosting a stall in the Charities Section at the wonderful Lambeth Country Show in Brockwell Park. Please pop along and see us, say hello and find out what we are up to. We look forward to seeing you there!

Huge thanks are due once again to all the staff, volunteers, friends & family members who helped make the inaugural Rathbone Fun Run in May a great success.
The event was attended by Duputy Mayor of Lambeth Councillor Mark Bennett who was the official starter and who also presented the medal to all the runners. We raised over £1,500 and the event was such a success that we very much hope to hold this fundraising event next year and beyond.
Everyone who attended had great fun in the hot and windy conditions. Please get in touch if you would like to be involved next year or if you have any other ideas for fundraising.

For the second consecutive year we supported a group of six young
people to fly to Spain and enjoy a fun-packed week of everything Benidorm has to offer. The group stayed in a lovely villa with its own pool and everyone an absolute ball.
Rathbone supported a group of nine young people to stay at Woodrow House,
an outdoor education centre in the Chilterns, run by London Youth. The group took part in a wide range of fun and challenging team building activities and sports. Everybody had a great time and we will definitely be going back to Woodrow House soon.
