Rathbone are celebrating Volunteers Week and the essential contribution our volunteers make to our work. Volunteers are a hugely important part of our governance and our service delivery. Without the contribution of our volunteers, we would not be able to operate some of our essential charity functions.
The Board of Trustees who oversee the work of the charity and support the CEO and the Senior Management Team are all volunteers. They meet monthly and sometimes assist in between monthly meetings where their personal experiences and skills can be of assistance to the management of the charity. Trustees also help with things like fundraising, strategy, legal and financial matters.

We are currently recruiting new Trustees. You can read more about or vacancies here:
‘I enjoy being a trustee for Rathbone. It’s a great way to make a contribution in my local community in Lambeth and only takes a few hours every month. We have friendly, informal trustee board meetings, where everyone has something different to contribute.’ Jillian, Co-Chair, Board of Trustees
