London Youth

London Youth is a charity dedicated to empowering and supporting youth organisations across London, ensuring young people have the skills and opportunities they need to thrive. Working with a network of 600 youth groups and through our two residential centers, Hindleap Warren and Woodrow High House, they create safe, supportive spaces where young people can build confidence, resilience, and essential skills.

For over 137 years, London youth have offered a crucial support system outside of family and school—places where young people can enjoy time with friends, make a positive impact in their communities, and help shape the future of London.

Rathbone receives funding from London Youth and CVC Capital Partners to deliver an exciting summer program, offering a range of activities like karaoke, cooking, rock climbing, swimming, water sports, and a multi-sport inclusive day. Each activity was accredited with AQA certificates, and over 70 young people took part.

The London Youth Sports Development fund supports Rathbone by covering coaching, facility rentals, sports equipment, and training for youth workers and young people to become sports leaders. With this funding, Rathbone has introduced activities like table tennis, street tennis, and fencing.

London Youth’s City Leaders program empowers young people to become inspiring leaders within their youth clubs and communities. Rathbone City Leaders planned and decided on how to allocate funds to make a positive impact in both their youth club and the surrounding community.
