Rathbone was awarded funding from London Youth and CVC Capital Partners to run summer activities. The activities involved karaoke, cooking, rock climbing, swimming, water sports and an inclusive multi-sports day which were all accredited through AQA certificates. Over 70 young people were involved across the programme of activities.
London Youth Sports Development which currently funds coaches, facilities hire, sports equipment and training for Youth Workers and young people to become sports leaders. This has included table tennis, street tennis and fencing.
London Youth City Leaders encourages young people to become inspirational leaders and are supported through the programme to lead positive change in their own lives, their youth club and their communities. The Rathbone City Leaders decided on how and where they would like to spend their money in the youth club and the local community.
