Emily Cannon, Trustee
I’ve been a trustee with Rathbone for nearly three years. My brother, Andrew, has autism and learning disabilities and I joined Rathbone because I wanted to give back to my local community, and contribute the voice of the family to a board of trustees.
In my professional role, I’m a Quality Improvement Coach at the National Collaborating Centre for Mental Health, improving the safety of inpatient mental health and learning disability services in England. I really enjoy being a trustee for Rathbone – the hard work and commitment of the team always shines through and it’s interesting to learn how the team strive to improve, whilst also looking at new initiatives for the future.
