Rathbone connect
The Rathbone Connect service was developed to offer a flexible alternative to our Outreach Service for people who struggled to fit in with the rigidity of an appointment-based service. Although service users still get a home visit weekly, they are able to attend a drop-in service three days a week.
The drop-in service offers all of the support, advice and guidance that the outreach team provides, but in addition offers recreational activities, the chance for social interaction and a low cost (or often free) meal. People can attend the drop-in on any day they want to and at any time during the opening times.
Rathbone Connect forms part of our Outreach Service, which is regulated by the Care Quality Commission. They inspect care services on a regular basis and provide a report on their findings. Sometimes, they will make recommendations which need to be implemented. Rathbone’s Outreach service is currently rated as ‘GOOD’. You can see our most recent report here.
