Sian Sinclair Trustee
I am delighted to have joined the board of Rathbone in 2022. I have lived in south London all my life and have a long-standing commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable and marginalised people in the local community. This has been through a number of voluntary roles, both as a trustee of London-based organisations, such as family support charity Home-Start and the South London Relief in Sickness Fund, and in hands-on roles, running workshops in primary schools for the NSPCC and co-ordinating a Covid befriending service for Age UK Lambeth. I also serve as a magistrate in the South London criminal and family courts.
In many of these roles I have witnessed the barriers that exist for those with learning disabilities. I hope to be able contribute the skills and experience I have gained in the voluntary sector to work alongside the staff to maintain and strengthen the Rathbone organisation.
